I figured I better start posting my progress before I get to the point of messing the model up beyond repair. I'm therefore marking this place as my WIP thread, and hope to fill it up soon. So here goes WIP on this character I'm putting together, inspired by hardboiled crime fiction and film noir from the 40's and 50's. I…
I've got two variants of the satyr blocked in. Keep in mind this is preproduction type of work - in addition to exploring basic theme and style for art, I am also developing the overall assembly line. I decided to add an additional satyr variant. I had a skirmisher and a charger, but I decided to add an archer as well.…
Thanks for replying. - Base Surface > Specualr Quality > Ver High (128) doesn't fix it - Switching HDRI to one of SP's default HDRIs doesn't fix it - The scene is setup for PBR workflow. Project config is: OpenGL and Color Configuration of OpenColorIO with Substance config (defaulting this also doesn't fix it). The shader…

For something like this, especially with more stylized models, you'll probably want to use Dynamesh as more of an intermediate step only to merge the shapes together. Start with very basic shapes. I find it helps to keep the vertex count as low as possible on each one, and instead let the subdivision's algorithm do its job…
The first things I notice with the 3d version are the feet and legs. In the concept they are much more muscular and shaped. - The claws in your model are too low poly and spikey whereas in the concept, they are much rounder. Spend a few more polies here to round them off. Try to integrate them more into the foot. For…
Regarding Cremuss' comment about the wing structure, bats are excellent reference: Also, regarding wings, I'm always a big fan of the "finger" tips poking out below the membrane, ideally at the distal joint of the phalanges. It gives them kinda a clawed look which is pretty scary. He's got two different styles of horns:…
