My answer to the original post and question: NO. If you want to do digital art, learn the tools online and on your own, and study fine art in college. Certainly not "game art."
I'm the only one that loves EA? I think their games are very good, and sometimes, origin has GREAT sales. I already bought the digital deluxe edition of BF4.
But flux is just that, tints the screen like a glass. I was hoping for an actual calibration of the monitor on digital level if someone doesn't have all those fancy buttons under the screen.
'Zbrush character Creation, Advanced digital scultping' by scott spencer is a great book for learning character work in Zbrush. He touches base with maya, and goes normal mapping and more.
great idea! how about elemental-themed batmans? like "fire batman" and "ice batman" and whatever you can think of ;) . good to see some non-digital art!
not DRM, anti-cheat messup with the binary's digital signature, still sucks, but the work around is to just set your clock back http://pc.ign.com/articles/949/949988p1.html
Hm. In the BIOS the first video device needs to be set to PCI instead of onboard, but it sounds like that's been done already. What kind of monitor is it? And is this over an analog or digital connection?
It'd take weeks to perfect the 100 or less tris that make him up! I'd probably try to take it in a slightly different direction, either make it seem slightly digital or plastic.
Check these out: http://www.pandemoniumart.net/brushes/ A collection from some of the top concept artists and digital painters. It all depends on the style, there's a big difference between painting environments or painting characters.
This is my first full character done in Zbrush. Its been laying around collecting digital dust for weeks and i will probably never finish it so i might as well post it :)
