Hands are awkward. Fingers are way too short and bend outwards weirdly, plus, despite a lot of divisions, you don't really have much form or weight in them. The rest looks pretty solid, although you may be able to trim some polies around the joints, and, especially, on the calves. -

i feel, since your useing this on flat surfaces or making trim sheets for mapping to polys, it would just be easier zbrush it for the same results, since if your bakeing to a plane there really are no extra steps. sculpt, export, bake. you can pretty easily sculpt things like your examples too. -

Do let us know if that works, Daew. Nothing has ever worked for me and I've to see a fix. I can be in object mode, isolate, go to component mode, then do a bevel or something, and get similar results to your pics. Usually it trims my view down to the newly created geometry. -

I think the boots could use some more detail, even if you just exaggerate some of the folds. They seem a bit bland and smooth compared to the rest of the character. And maybe add some more detail and bulk to the trim/fold at the bottom of the trench coat to better define it. Looking good so far! -

To be honest I think some of the budget constraints kept more hardcore sci-fi out of it. BBC after all really had to trim itself per the UK government correct? As said after 3, its starts to come together. It somewhat reminds me of stargate, except with better dialog and plots. -

still need to refine the head further, there are ccd eye cameras in the front , and then there will be some on the side, there all meant to give the wearer a complete view not from one but the aggregate of all the camera inputs. as for brushes i use a loott of trim dynamic, dam standard, clay , and clay tubes. with various… -

any reason you did the floor that way? no need to model out the tiles. just make that section a tiled texture and the trim a seperate tiled texture. as for your desk.. you can still have a normal map that helps bevel the edges, just make it tileable. This scene is about 70% tileable textures. -

Looks good :D just maybe a minor detail. the trims stones don't always attach properly to each other. I don't know if it's because of the UT3 editor or not. If you can fix it, it would be nice, if not, nobody will notice when playing it and try to score some kills. ;) otherwise it looks really awsome! -

I didn't have a clue what to get my wife, now I just need to trim my goatee like I was 14 and get a shinny suit. I think I'll add my own twist and put an "organ grinder" crank on the side... Thanks for the link that made my Monday. -

Fix up the smoothing groups? they're only subtle lines but it's getting to me hehe! Also maybe add some trims around that disc you just added, so it looks like the barrels are actually going into it, rather than just butted up against it. Good work so far though
