I think the water bubbles are too dense and small. Also, you should use a direction mask or something, so it wouldn't appear on the angles/directions where it shouldn't. Vlad relax, all of those three staffs mentioned here are similar to default keeper weapon: I would totally agree with you if designs that you have shown were super original, but they are not, they are just slightly modified versions of original weapon. you can use a lattice to do this. In max they are called FDD modifiers. Another way is to draw a spline and then use the path deform modifier on it. This may work but cause a crap load of stretching.
