sphere i guess i any modeling package, then you just edit/extrude, etc EDIT : or you just pick a brush to make inner carving ( dont know the tool in zbrush ) , sculpt and some pinching -

i know, i know, it might be a bit redundant, but how about renaming the active layer in the ndo window? like, the title of the window is the active layer. just click that name and make it editable?? edit: yeah, didnt need to register, too... -

I'm pretty sure if you download the latest version of the student edition and install/activate it you'll get another 3 years. Happened to me when I had installed the student edition of 2014 over 2012 in my last year. -

I just tracked down an issue I was having, that looks like it might be similar. In max, go to element mode of the edit/editable poly and hit unhide all. I suspect it might be that one of your high polys is hiding something. -

I think it was something like: 1.get all edges connected to the endpoints of first selected egde 2.substract all edges which form the both surrounding polygons ->What you get is the first step in the ring between 2 selected edges if you continue till you hit the other selected edge you are done with the ring between the 2… -

The error GUIStudioMDL gave me is: I removed the "read only" check on the sourceSDK folder, but it's still not working. don't think sooooooo, i know they had a limited edition for it which came with a figure of Max but sadly that was for north America and not us guys in Europe. :'( single tear and i think that edition is sold out for limited time thing
