the logs should be alternating one ontop of the other, interlocking. yours are all intersecting. also the roof looks too small to me, extend the shingles out a bit more
roof and clock model were both split up and also assigned polylimits for the single slots already. BUT they are not added to the workshop so far. (may happen next week)
This looks absolutely flawless, apart from the pixels for the roof of the car; something about them is jarring to me. Possibly its the amount of pixels? (i.e. just the one row).
Hey Polycount! Decided to share my take of the 1974 Dodge Monaco, with the roof mounted loudspeaker, from the 1980 movie - the Blues Brothers. and hope someone will give any feedback along this work. Thank you for your time!
For some reason when it's rotated the roof behaves fine, but flat it does this. I thought perhaps it was the high Sun but it does it whatever angle it's placed at around the UE4 Z axis.
Thanks for this tip! I'm already working on a much more crooked version, especially the roof needs much more work! With which software did you have modelled the buildings? :)
Awesome work man. Love the lighting and atmosphere. Are you using parallax on the floor or is this modeled? My only niggle is the roof texture seems a little bland in comparison to the rest of the environment.
Those roof ornaments/beam things on the left building of the first shot look like sock puppets. It doesn't really match the style of the rest of the building and certainly not the tower it's connected to.
