Update 2: Finally got a brand new replacement card. Same EVGA RTX 2080 Ti Black Edition 11Gb. But this time GPU-Z says that the manufacturer of GDDR6 is Samsung. I've heard it got switched from Micron to Samsung for newer batch to resolve the faulty chips. At least now I have a bit more trust with the card. (; -

Unfortunately, no - you'll need to combine these maps yourself, manually. Each mesh group is treated as a separate object. If you plan to atlas them, it would probably be a good idea to keep them as one object and put some XYZ world space distance between them (as in move them in X, Y, and Z) before exporting to DDO. Thank you for the quick reply Wiktor. :) Forgive me if I'm missing something but that Max script doesn't do the same as the koddeCreateRampMap script for Maya. I'm able to use the Gradient Map Tool just fine but don't get any dialog or options to bake for X, Y, Z. Preparing to apply face to palm! Thank you, Jon -

And this, ladies and gents, is why you use good reference when doing things. My net connection was down for a good portion of yesterday, and, bored, I whipped out the ole z-brush for some practice. Oh zbrush, it's been too long. Anywho, next time I'm using good reference. I'm filing this under "learning experience". -

Ugh. Did they have to use a Xmod? Could have gotten better performance from a Mini-Z. I know they lack funds but they do make smaller cameras than that and you can get a lipo setup so could have had a body and the car would have acted better since the CG would be lower. (RC Racer) -

looks good, I like the clean look of everything. about your problems, they sound strange, never heard of anything like it. maybe you have an actual collision box instead of a lightmass importance volume? or maybe the kill-z is set strange so you die and respawn when you try to move? I dunno xD -

Can i not ctrl-z? It seems to work in photoshop, but 3do and Ddo dont respond. What is the /m at the texel density input? If i put in 4096, i am working with 4k in ddo and 3do yes? Is there interated autobackup? I noticed i could mess up the maps pretty easily and cant seem to dind a way to backup. -

Hi guys, pretty keen to get into this. I'm currently getting more comfortable with the workflow required of Modo SE, & using this challenge as a way to practice time management. So far I've spent just over an hour - No Z-brush for me, I prefer to model my high poly hard surface objects rather than sculpt. -

What it looks like to me is that the rays from the top plane go along the Z-axis and catch the entire edge, while the front plane catches the entire edge as well, which means you have it twice now. Like with the cyan asterisks in this image: Normal map raycasting. I'd have no idea why that would work in Max, though. -

Z refocuses the camera on whatever you have selected, it continues to tumble around that point even after you've deselected it.
