When I unwrap and bake textures I prefer the eyelids to be half closed so I'm not stretching a tiny thin strip of polys/texture when the eyes are closed. Of course that makes everyone look drugged out and sleepy so that is usually one of the last steps I take just before baking. I do the same for the lips because it sucks… -
