really liking this, the bottom left outfit made me think "oh snap" haha, a goblin chief? ha ha ha xD keep it up =) just to add some wireframes would be nice too =)
That sewing machine is amazing. The model is so intricate. If you have the time, I'd like to see the wireframe. I also really love your wood textures. You get so much warmth in them.
Haha Atlus thanks for the posts, they've been umm... eye opening! :D Do you just do game art as a hobby? Your texture work is great. What you use for that wireframe slider?
Questions: What does the wireframe view look like in substance? Does it show geometry there? Is your mesh triangluated before loading into substance? Are you certain those missing faces have their normals facing outward?
@dustin I know man, im waiting for someone to message me threatening legal action and ask me to redact all of the figures from that post! It's happened for revealing much less! *cough* wireframes *cough*.
The problem probably is in how I placed the curves, it seems, because I did everything that was said in that page, and only got a misformed wireframe. I'll try to remake the mouth and I'll see how it'll do.
@tamarin, getting the textures were pretty difficult. My final high poly, then I did some low poly, wireframe top box bottom is the normals sized with 256x256 so the the textures should show!
This turned out pretty nicely, will you be texturing him pretty soon? Not really too much to critique yet without a texture on him. I'd like to see some wireframes and what's the tri count on him?
I would also think about putting what Country/City you are living in for potential employers. You could also show your wireframes and textures flats to show you are making things efficiently.
Then as I said... Wireframe + Diffuse And an extra... On the beginning I did nude character, and I maked all armor parts like "bodypart" method. It was a good experience, and I could test lot of new things.
