that is friggin awesome-sauce! I'm informing my brother-in-law (who's currently a film student) of his responsibility to contribute. immediately. *edit* doc rob - i love your scenes. the xwing pilot's face with the voice is hilarious.
if your a student you can get a massive discount or possibly free from school http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/buy/students.html Otherwise learning is going to be impposible m you pretty much need photoshop no way around it
Hi Marie! You got some great work. One thing I'd recommend, is to remove older pieces that doesn't represent your current skill level (especially the student short film characters). Quality over quantity! :)
Hi joeriv, thanks for the reply. One question: Unity is very expensive for me - im a poor student - but there is a free version out there. In comparison to the Pro Version - where are the differents? I googled it, but nobody list it. Thanks for your help.
Out of curiosity.. was there an instructor that advised that you use Flash? Was it mandatory? I'm only asking, because I'm seeing a LOT of flash portfolios from students, rather than something that's faster, easier, and simpler to maintain/update. :S
Is there a way not to use Zbrush? I didn't study this program yet. I tried something, but this is not what I wanted. I am just a student, please someone help. I better be dead, no one wants to help me.
http://london.kijiji.ca/f-housing-apartments-for-rent-W0QQCatIdZ37 Probably your best bet, for a rough idea till you get here. The poxy Uni students are either gone or going soon, so it's a good time for looking.
Excellent idea Gauss! True *concepting* Funny thing, we spoke about the exact same idea at school last week : swapping the finalprojects between students for some freeminded fresh ideas and input. Long life to this thread!
Haha I remember when a programmer (also a student) tried to explain this to me when I was at university. It makes a hell of a lot more sense in comic form. Maybe physics and maths should be explained the same way in school >_>
Not sure if this is helpful. But I made an example to teach this to my students. I can share the Maya project with you if that would be helpful. [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiPn6orWwFg[/ame] And here is my stunning texture flat :)
