damn that's cool man. only thing that stands out (or doesn't) is how hard it is to tell the cloth parts apart, slight upping of contrast between them might be handy. It might just be the strong, light background making it a little harder to tell apart tho. and those paints look awsome too dude, really hope you flesh out…
Nice progress, your getting some really nice colours on the rock from the scene lighting now and the blue glow is def. easier on the eyes. Made you another paintover. There's a small fake background of some buildings in the distance and the object distribution should feel more natural. Other than that some slight…
Ben Apuna - Thanks for all the feedback and the tutorial. I'll definitely take a look at it. Worst comes to worst I might just bend modifier it up lol. Would be a real pain doing all of that after everything is in place though. Natetheartist - Thanks, this scene is rendered in UDK. Changes -Slight angle turn -Made the…
if you are trying to match the lighting from the concept, id definitely say you would need to darken your environment color and maybe put in some slight desaturation in a post process volume/chain. personally i think its a bit too bright and over exposed. also its looking very diffuse, not sure if thats what you're aiming…
UPDATE - MAY 1st 2015 Today I finished the second big scene of my movie and started right away with the third scene. The prgress I make is good. I am in time scedule. But in this little update I just want to talk a bit about light - a torchlight. First, I show you a short clip, so you can watch my torchlight in action ...…

Great effort! However, there are areas that could benefit from improvement. Creating an ambient cyberpunk scene in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) involves combining various elements such as lighting, materials, assets, and post-processing effects to achieve the desired atmosphere. Here's a general guide to help you get started 1.…
We're developing a short animated film and building it through community collaboration. The story follows Arthur, a determined pilot racing his rickety spacecraft through deep space in a high-speed attempt to become the fastest man alive. The film runs just under 2 minutes. Characters are fully rigged and textured, and…
I think the statue looks too clean, and the sides of the platform too. Try adding a subtle tiling normal map and darker/stained areas. The lights shining up onto the statue would really nicely bring out the normal map. Kinda like this, with the slight bump, but not so strong of a contrast in the diffuse: EDIT Wow, I just…
Just starting out to learn about udk. Have looked around a bit, but can find anything on this slight problem. When i switch to Gameview everything tends to loose a bit of contrast, gets a bit greyer. Is this normal? Added an example of a just a skydome, no lights in the scene, just an easy material with the texture put in…
