I have a warm spot in my heart fer double fine... Nice to see psychonauts still alive n kicking ( $2.49 and $5.43 with the new costume game ) :) fer 2 more hours!
thanks everyone! I appreciate it- I had some sporadic time here n there to get some sculpting in so here's the first overall sculpt pass- weapons are blocked in but not worth showing yet.
J to the O to the H to the N... looooveee your work man, nothing to overboard, but executed so well that is always a pleasure seeing new stuff from you :) Love your texture work by the way!
Nothing, just seperate passes. Red X's were the first pass, then the Orange marks were made when comparing the remainders. X's n O's should be pretty self-explanatory. I hope. -,-
I suggest doodling a quick concept before modeling. The distribution looks alright, but it looks like you've got some normal reversed maybe... i think ctrl + n flips em in blender.
Yup. That's the problem right there. Are you laumching from cmd or from Maya itself? Guess it wouldn't hurt to put the following code in your userSetup.mel; if(!`pluginInfo -query -l -n Mayatomr`) loadPlugin "Mayatomr";
Wow great textures on the helmet. Looking at the reference pictures for the gun, the two pieces on the side seem to be closer to the reef with the N, and the crown is sitting on the reef. Might be a design choice, but either way, looking good.
Id do both - Animating the texture would be a lot easier to get the effect that the belt is going around the sprockets, but you can also animate a little "belt wobble" into the mesh to make it awesomeness -N!
I have a pair of these Sennheisers http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/det...cs&n=172282 The sound is incredible and the fact that it cancels out noise is a plus. The only draw back is the short cord.
