Quick update, retopologized the armor as well as the pointy shell part on his back. Preparing the model for detailing. Still messing around with his face and arms/legs. -

Don't be afraid to use multiple pieces. It doesn't need to be a watertight mesh. Also you don't seem to be matching the drawing you made with the chest armor as it is now. -

That's not a lot of armor on him. Seems that you didn't really know what to do with his feet, and slapped some boots on there. His forehead looks disturbingly small. -
