I hate cammo yellow. Done way to much. Snow camo though is made of win for sure. Think their needs to be a lot more mud on its tracks though. Snow melts, creating quite a bit of mud their.
i will be picking it up, actually thinking of going to the event here in LA.. i might try and get cliff to sign my copy of R2, that would be awesome..i think it would melt fanboy's faces off.
Looks real nice, though the stones all appear perfectly polished clean and synthetic. Dirt in cracks (AO style), moss, etc. Some dirty decals to melt everything together would be nice too.
I agree with Grimwolf here, I love the chest and the pillars, but the statue and door almost feel like they are melting? I would try more hard edges, cleaner. Good Luck overall I love this!

i hope you can play in 3rd person, first person melee always feels wrong, you're just stood there whacking away, 3rd person opens it up to adding style to your character
Wyldcard, The part that you are referring to on the front of the gun is not a grip, its a guard/melee piece. The grip for the gun is actually behind that part and is held like an assault rifle. The angle of this render is probably what is giving it that look.
My main critique ... "Holy Dr. Who SFX, Batman.!" Instead of a definite feeling of flesh and metal coarsely melded, the Strogg come off (to me) like actors in latex foam rubber monster suits.
Well If I throw it in a plane and can pull off some Depth then looking dead on or turning the view slightly I want it to look like i could almost walk down it..or melt down it seeing that its lava
Oh cool, thanks! I was thinking of removing the sail all together because it doesn't really add anything, but I didn't even see the bridge melting into the horizon line, going to have to fix that. Thanks for the crit! :smile:
