I hate it when people who have skillz say "oh, I'm slow and not that good" :P What I think is funny (as in: great!) is that you have a very french style...very cite des enfants perdu/ circe du soleil...it translates very well in computer graphics. Keep it up and make me happy with great images :P -

It's not a striking resemblance, though. I know of the actor well and I couldn't identify him without reading the text afterwards, and seeing the IRL picture. careful about that polyInfo as it will give you the normal orientation pre-transform IIRC. Also, depending what you're aiming at, you'll have trouble to get the normal you're interested in for non planar n-gons (4+ edges). I can dig up some stuff from scripts I've made if you want to do it the hard way if you're interested. -

good likeness. looking at the first pic I can find, http://www.filmjackets.com/FEATURES/IMAGES/Feature_Serenity-big.jpg his paints go much higher up his waist than what you have depicted. and his upper eyelid/brow arcs a bit, while yours look straight. everything else is looking really good. keep it up :D -

I don't think it's too common to have such thigh MOLLE setup without have a strap going upwards towards a combat belt/belt. IIRC I've seen some like that, but it's pretty stupid having your pistol that unsecured and a strap going up and under the shirt would tie him more together. GJ on the composition of this soldier,… -
