Fantastic work, Adam. The color palette is absolutely perfect with the lit environment, and I really dig the style you were going for off of it. Seems like it could fit right into a game similar to a futuristic version of The City of Metronome.
I think that's a very good start! Some of the details seem a bit off, though. (e.g. the philtrum cutting very low into the lips, nostrils ) Also the smile looks a bit strange and is too local. I did a quick google search and suspect you might have been fooled by light and shadows of the photographs a bit. The likeness…
A tiny update, progress has been a bit slow going in my free time; I made some cabinets for the interior! @musashidan Thanks! I'd love to turn it into a game of some sort one day (or at least a game in the same style), but alas it's a pretty big commitment and finding time with work and life can be a bit of a pain…
Yep, see what you mean. Same with these. I'll jump into zbrush and mess with her lips and eyebrows a bit and try to smooth her face a bit. In all honesty I think the hard edges on her face are due to polycount as opposed to normals since it's supposed to be quite a bit lowpoly. Guess either something went wrong with the…
Vic my comment was not pointed at you at all! Here is some more information about Megascans: It depends a little on the resolution: for an 8K material with 8bit maps and 32 bit displacement/bump it's around 350MB per material. An object scan with 8K maps (+32 bit displacement) and ztool, highpoly and LODs is 700MB. Around…
Thankyou dude, when it's done I'll try and figure out a breakdown of some sort :) A little bit of an update from me, pretty small changes. - Took down the huge Smelly sign and popped a small version on the shelves. - Changed the LUT - Reduced the light shaft coming in the door that was bleaching the scene out a bit - Top…
i wish the dudes left hand would sway a bit when you move it kind of looks a bit odd just hanging there i think it would make the feel more imersive, not much just like a little bit of back and forth would be easy to do compared to how much it would add, maybe the right hand too just a lil like 5-10 cm's would look nice
look into the corners of the mouth and eyes a little more, the lower lip tends to tuck underneath the upper lip and terminates at a fatty pad of either side (you have a bit of this going on but i'd say not enough), as for the eyes theres usually a lot of subtle shapes and plane changes going on in there, i found this site…
anime characters have chronic overbite, now that I think about it :D It's looking a little better, but the front of the face is looking a bit flat I think. You could pull the eyes and nose and upper lip forward just a little bit. The eye might still be a bit big (odd to say for anime) I would also point the chin more just…
