I thought it was a bit overdone in the demo as well but I read it was intentionally exagerated there and would not be as intense in the final product. I hope I come to like it cause I'd like to experience the game as it was intended but if it's just as intense as in the demo I'll definitely turn it off.
I've had this problem several times, and I was always able to fix it by converting the model to editable mesh, and then back to editable poly. That erased whatever hidden history was affecting the turbosmooth and allowed it to work as intended. Was definitely frustrating before I figured it out though.
[ QUOTE ] I'm impressed they didn't go all gungho with making it a closed application like discreet did with gmax. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, and look what they did with Gmax. Mod Tool actually works as intended. For learning, and for games, it's a great app to help increase their userbase.
I like everything, except her face. reminds me a bit of Michael jackson, or Anette Olzon. ( if you intend to make a finnish girl) no offence! I did a quick overpaint, just to show the difference, hope that helps or just ignore it)
I like the design, but can I ask what the material is meant to be? It's reading like a raincoat to me right now, nothing wrong with that, I just wondered what is intended as you called it a hoodie, so maybe it's meant to be a rougher material.

sure thing, cheers for input fwiw, his hands were intended to be overlarge as in his morrowind appearance. any advice on keeping the overlarge hands without it looking wrong? some of the other anatomy (like around his neck) is also exaggerated
some last minute feedback would be great :) heres where i am at now added new props (barbed wire/concrete barricade) redone the lighting to add more color variation made the ground look more swampy as it was intended to be
In your case, there's a lot of unique colors. They're not grouped by similar values. You'll need to treat each color as a mask in Photoshop, which means you'll want a solid selection of one color for each area you intend to mask off.
