XAYAH COSTUME CONCEPT: I may go through more colors palette ideas...but I think these are a good start. Once I have Xayah's costume figured out I should be able to put Rakan's costume together quickly.
keeps getting better :) you could retop super quickly in zbrush and then in max or whatever add the subD based edgeloops. grassetti did it with his amazing mecha girl , otherwise just project it on and play with the polish brushes like you have.
I've got a 'solution' to this if anyone is interested. Its now more about suppressing the stitch dialog in the first place so you can just stitch quickly, and less about the position of the window. I'll post if anyone is interested. Cheers, Tyler
In the old school superman tv series, the actor would stand, chest puffed out, as the villains repeatedly shot him. However, when they ran out of bullets and threw the gun at him, superman would quickly move to get out of the way of it.

Thanks MoP. :) I'll try experimenting with having more or less one big shell, I guess it doesn't hurt to try some different ones out and just quickly bake the normals to it to see how it would look, thanks again!
Okay so I know the anatomy sucks but I did this really quickly after having an epiphany of sorts about what I'm doing wrong. I know it's far from "sweet" but I'm happy with my progress so far.
Weird, Daz, I remember using PS 5.5 with my old Graphire and only had that problem when drawing really huge strokes really quickly... most of the time it was fine. Maybe try checking for brush spacing options or something?
What you guys use when you have to paint in 3d? In my list: 1st Zbrush - As you can paint in polys and send to texture later also using zapplink 2nd DeepPaint - Mostly because of its plugin to photoshop, very quickly. 3rd BodyPaint - I didnt get use to it.
How exactly are you supposed to find things in the documentation for Max 2017 and newer? Google no longer indexs it, and the built in search feature seems to be in a barely functional state. I use the documentation a lot when doing maxscript in Max 2016, but it seems like starting with 2017 there's simply no good way to…
