I guess we need a qualifier here... Are we talking props used during filming? Or are we talking props if they actually worked like they are in the movie? If it's based on what they did in the movie, then I want the Back to the Future Delorean (Mr Fusion version), or Bill & Ted's phone booth. I'd love to be able to time…
"As for lowpoly modeling in current gen ( by that I mean what people still refer to as next-gen for some reason) games, we're not talking about lame boxes anymore. We're talking about highly detail stuff that is in many ways a lot more complicated and have higher demands of accuracy than characters." per for PRESIDENTE !!!
I assume you are Talking about Adobe Bridge. Unfortunately it is not advanced enough. But I did a search to see if you were talking about another program and found Adobe Version Cue CS3 which might actually work, must read more into it tho. In an odd way still helped me out, Thanks.
One funny thing I thought is where they talk as if Modo invented scripting languages... the host talks about everyone else having to do C++ plugins... they're speaking like maxscript, MEL script etc. don't exist :) Well, it is a Luxology podcast after all, I guess they always want to push their product.
im not talking about those minor features... those are more a management decision... you all know how slow this is moving in a big company... go and listen to the latest modo modcast... brad is talking there how fast it is to create a prototype software and how long its taking to create a final product ready for prime…
Meetup was awesome! :) There was a huge attendance, everyone was friendly, and just loved talking about games. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer, I had to go to work in a few hours. Maybe next meet up we can play board games (or some who I talked to had a 3DS. Definitely bring that!).
Everything Procedural, skip to 60 minutes for an amazing talk, its all really cool though! https://youtu.be/hyhH0GKCW7A?t=3586 I guess its already done in Star Citizen but its interesting the way the technology is going, moving to a streaming version as he mentions in the talk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdCFTF8j7yI
I get my pc's from pc specialist also Gmanx. They have been great so far( I have bought 2) re broadband , don't use talk talk or plusnet. I am not too fussed on sky either currently have Unlimited BT Infinity 2 ( 76 MB), which is ok.
Theres a couple of guys who post here and that are friends of mine that work at DICE. Hopefully they catch this thread and put in their 2 cents. I talked to one of them and basically his opinion was, 'Meh, we'll still be making the same games.' Talked to another but I don't think I'll be putting his opinion here. :P
Hello! I've started fiddling with 3D and videogames production a few months ago, and now I'm involved in a small indie project. We're just five people, so we have to be flexible and ready to learn every kind of new skills, one of which is making open world environments. My tasks were to learn how to make a terrain in World…
