yeah, just finished it and i gotta say it was awsome. I was really getting into the story even if it wasn't particularly elaborate, and the first person thing was really nice, great sense of immersion in the world. This game is more of a puzzle/platformer than a first person shooter imo, just done in first person. Though…

Hello everyone, my name is Guillem and I'm a 3D student from Barcelona. This is my first post, and I will share to you the project that I'm doing in Zbrush. Please feel free to give any type of feedback / tips / resources! I will be working in this project until the end of the month. My idea is to do the sculpt with Zbrush…
Eat 3D has released a followup to their popular Zbrush Hard Surface Techniques DVD. With Mike Jensen as your instructor, this DVD will take you through the process of creating a full character armor set. And an entire new set of hard surface tricks and techniques for Zbrush, this should be a must have for any game artist.…
Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to comment! RE posing and painting: I'm a little burned out on this for now. I could rebuild everything as a single mesh, export displacement maps, and move it around in max, but I'm ready to move on to another project. I also didn't do a lot planning before hand, so very little thought…
Yeah, thank you for your comment! This is the kind of comments I love! :) I'll look into that, and I actually already thought about that issue, even though I am not sure how I could resolve it. For the fiery Ezreal, I think it won't be "too" hard. :) But electricity is hard to render in a cartoony/hand-painted style...…
Hi. Maybe this is a little weird asking. Im having a hard time being creative with hard surface sci fi stuff that doesent exist. I love hard surface moddeling and i love sci fi stuff. I can have a cool general idea of a weapon, a mini scene or a vehicle, but i cant figure out how i will have the details, joints etc look…
Yeah, I was able to hide it but yesterday I finally get the solution as well. All what I had to do is to handle the edges as they're hard so set multiple smoothing groups with separated uv islands helped and totally fixed the problem. So basically @lluc21 solved my problem. I had a delusion about the hard edges like they…
Do you need it? No, but it's beneficial for anything organic and to some extent for hard surfaces. I would recommend trying Sculptris to start off (it's free and can be learned in less then 10 minutes). For work that's done without the use of zbrush, check out Paul Pepera, LoneWolf, and Tor Frick for hard surfaces. Also…
Having a hard time reading the textures, the silhouettes are okay, and they work as a sword. I would take a different approach to the construction that will give you much cleaner results. - Develop a high poly - Retop - Bake AO, Cavity, Gradient/position, and maybe even and object space normal map. - create gradient maps -…
