I used to make custom skins back in the day, and IIRC to get custom or edited models to work, you would have to use some 3rd-party tools to extract and re-import skins. Also, you would need to use the same default skeleton and rig your edited or custom model if you want it to animate correctly.
Heck yeah. I got: seasons 1-3 of The Universe on bluray Up and Monsters Inc on bluray Artist Busts: Flesh Torso Set from freedomofteach.com New SMB on Wii Mario Party on DS new Star Trek special edition with metal replica of enterprise lol nerdtastic Lots of really warm hats and gloves, lots of socks
looks like a good start! You should do a pass consentrating on follow through and overlapping action to loosen the movements up a bit. Offsetting some of the keys on the hip, spine and head / neck could be a good start. I would also take a look at the major arcs of the motion. Especially how the gun moves. Keep up the good…
Hey! Glad my tip helped. Another way to make the smooth curved ramp shape... start with a Helix instead of an Arc. http://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2017/ENU/?guid=GUID-3720DC32-7B9E-4C4C-A709-B3EF12C1112D And you can use the Rendering rollout in the Helix to make it into a rectangular-shaped mesh. Less modifiers the…
These things have existed for a while - military helicopter pilots here use similar tech in order to project pertinent data directly onto the eye; the result is having the info you need without having to take your eyes off things to look at some other display. Focal range is not an issue, as the laser projects the image…
Love the work you have done so far! But one thing that irks me whenever I look at your screen shots... There is absolutely just too much black on black in the scene, where detail is completely lost. Those areas turn into a black hole of detail lol. Other than that, MOAR LENS FLARE! Looks good dude.
Totally agree pixel, this needs some more work, I will make it worn out and finish up with the details. P.S. This is what the latches on the back look IRL http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/dam/h-d/images/motorcycles/my15/touring/road-king-classic/overview/hdi/15-hd-road-king-classic-1.jpg
IIRC Max was like a week or two after having used Maya for years. Modo on the other hand was extremely frustrating for the first few days. I had to tear Modo apart and put it back together the way I wanted it to be hotkeys/menus/scripts before I was comfortable and functioning at 100%. That took maybe a month, it was worth…
@balron, really digging your piece. and yep nice polycount straps haha small suggestion - if it's not too late you might try arcing either the horizontal strap and/or the top edge of the visor. you have a lot of wonderfully dynamic lines in the character, and those two horizontals sorta break your flow and just feel more…
You can get both types. I havent tried a screen/tablet combo but i find a tablet just fine (I also come from more of a drawing background) http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/ For sketching the bigger the tablet the better. Small tablets force you to draw from the wrist making your arcs pretty wobbly and crappy.
