just grabbed the vga cable for the 360. amazing the difference it makes in dead rising. honestly I can see the text for the most part on my 19" monitor from my bed (about 5-8ft away). basically it's a low cost solution to get hd for the 360.
As with other posters, the hexes are a little overdone on this dude- Feng worked on some stargate ride stuff for MGM and I think this must be from that. Have you considered baking the hexes into the normal as well, so they work ore like little plates with edges? Cool stuff! ~P~
This is awesome program !!! Ryan. BTW, I was wondering if the preview shows the parellex bump mapping if I generate the shadow/displacement map? I have crappy VGA card with PS 1.1 so I am not sure if it does work or not. Anyone?

Well you can't use this GM/segway vehicle then. It's only got a range of 35 miles. You'd only get half way home. You could charge it at work I guess but it's still a very short range vehicle that goes pretty slow. Here's a zero emissions vehicle that's a much better option than the segway thing. http://www.vectrixusa.com/…
Well when it comes to an application like Mudbox you will need a bit of good hardware to run it. BUT, for an app like ZBrush. I am using 4 gigs of ram and an on-board VGA w/ no DirectX, OpenGL support and I can run ZBrush great.
why do american games magazines always look like they come from the 80's? (although I did art for EGM, don't get me wrong!) probably the only country where condensed bold is used and impact comes before arial
Wait a few more months to buy one. Since the 7800's just popped out, the 6800 cards are going to drop in price pretty quickly. I bought a 6800GT card, and o/c it to a little over 6800ULTRA spec, and it runs great. I'm using a Zalman VGA cooler on it as well.
I dont mind helping, i'm actually building my own cabinet this summer. The atomiswave SD would be perfect if it was 2 player, since it accepts vga input aswell, you could most likely rig it to be used with mame. My cabinet will use a switch for jamma/pc i'm sure.
I made this in 2 days and a half. Made sort of an animation jam weekend. Modelled in Zbrush, retopo and UV's in Maya, For Pattern on the helm I used VDM brushes that I make as a practice every day here and now. Maps baked in various software mostly Substance Painter and Xnormals. Redshift as the main render.…
