I have found the lost folder of Crap City. So... mountains of crap to play with: I hope to do some tags soon, can I tag myself? If not, somebody do the horse, or the rainbow jets
Naw, we police ourselves pretty much. The naming conventions are set fairly early on, and bath files/maxscripts are used to create base files and folders. Others are used to batch check assets where possible.
You can "drop" the files from your folder into 3ds Max's viewport, it allows you to import them directly. Otherwise no idea. Never had to import too many files from multiple locations I guess... : /
@Lamont Thanks, glad to hear it does work. I don't see UDK remote listed in the allowed programs. Do I need to install it on my PC, or is there a file in my UDK folder I need to find?
Also remember if you are also playing games on this computer, that savegames are often located in the document folder, which normally is on the C: drive unless you moved it, and those savegames can become quite big depending on the games.
There are 2 of those folders. Some scripts/macros/plugs go in 1, and some in the other. I usually just drop in both or test and switch them. I'll post the exact path when I'm at the computer shortly.
here's mine: here are the links to download the UI, matcaps, and brushes: http://crazyferretstudios.com/public/UserInterfaceLayouts.zip http://crazyferretstudios.com/public/Materials.zip http://crazyferretstudios.com/public/BrushPresets.zip all three of those go in your Zstartup folder
Lol it didn't strike me as that feature filled.... do have some feature requests though: - Subtool folders - A proper texturing toolset similar to Mudbox with layers n sheeeat! New updated UI please Pixo
Artstation 2D section of the forums + the Recap Pintrest (you can go forever there, but always try to source the stuff you find!) I think that's where I get most of the contents of my insp folders, haha.
^ This. You move/save your file into the public folder in your dropbox, right click it, choose copy public link, paste the link and you're done. No messy FTP or upload procedures. Just copy, click, done.
