Maya has a projection node that you can move as you like, I am sure Max does as well. Works great for simple things like logo or stencils that you want to see in realtime on your model and bake aftwards, but its not really a texturing solution.
Hey Maph how did you get your viewcube in Softimage to look like the Polycount logo, that looks pretty neat. I think I saw something similar to what you have but with Spongebob Squarepants on the viewcube. The Spongebob one looked funny hehe :D !!.
I think this looks quite pretty but your presentation is not helping it. The gigantic logo obscures too much of the pictures and they seem a bit too dark overall, not sure if this is the vignette or not. I wouldn't mind seeing how you went about making the floating islands. Nice job.
FF4 made its way to PC today, and the Japanese site for FF13 now has a Steam logo on it indicating it might come to PC soon. I'd guess FF15 might also just make its way over, although I'll still pick up a PS4 for it.
and to keep in mind the robot that we are working was an evil robo sent to destroy earth along with hordes of others, but was damaged and rescued by the heroes, they use him as a vehicle thru a game, and a side kick, i'm wanting something that could be a crushing machine when angry but also be a loveable buddy
@Sunray Nose looks fine, most of it will be covered too and only the bridge will be visible. As for the ears, I think the problem lies around the ear lobe. Perhaps it's just too defined and the curve need along the edge of the side profile needs to be smoothed out. If that makes any sense
You are heading in the right direction! Looks a lot better. As mentioned, it's a little soft. Work on making it a bit crisper. Oh, and you might want to fake a little highlight work in the diff on the central ridge. It's an element that you want to pop from all angles and lighting. - BoBo
Teapots should definitely be changed to smaller thumbnails of the Beretta...also clicking on the third teapots shows the other side of the Beretta with the logo backwards...im not sure if the grip is all one piece or not but maybe don't show the other side or mirror just the grip uv if you can.
