I think he was talking about modo 801, because, lets face it, rigging has always been modo's weak point. If I were the guy in charge of Autodesk licensing, i'd drop that monthly sub fee to be more inline with Epic's strategy. £30/month (roughly $50) is not as indie friendly as AD seem to think it is.
yes it is possible. you will need a HDR file for that. creating a custom HDR in photoshop does not always work but i found the convertPSD tool from Surface Mimic to be perfect for this use. just make a PSD file in photoshop with black, 50% grey and white for your stamp and make sure you are in greyscale 16bits/channel mode.
Thinking back, maybe those numbers should be more like 50% awesome, 10%stupid, and 40% this-feels-like-it-doesn't-translate-well. The awesome scenes totally make it worth it. Person1: "You just look like a cleaner." Person2: "Cleaner is just my job. My real identity is a post-graduate student."
Sure about the cooler? From what I read, the stock coolers are not that good and loud. I´ve changed the cooler to a cheaper one. And currently I am using an external 1TB that has 230gb left, so 2TB is fine. But I´ve changed the i7 to a Xeon 1230 v2, is that ok? It saves me 50€s.
I don't know that this is the best way to do it but I have unwrapped hair strips like this in Blender by using quad unwrap, average island scale then using snapping to overlap them. I can do 50+ hair strips in about 10 minutes. It's tedious work, ripe for automation, but not overly time consuming with hotkeys.
Ok, I gathered about 50 images of Exiting bunkers from Russian, Switzerland and Poland ( and countries of the like) as Warhammer 40K . I also found out the style of architecture that I want for the Admin Buildings and such Is Brutalism. As for the energy shields, that's not really the future I'm looking for. Here is a…
Your not alone, My team mate Frank loves the back of trucks so he made this music video featuring lots of back ends of trucks, do you think I should be worried or is this just the circle of life? 50 seconds in if you want to cut to the chase. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkpVaHHkF0M&feature=youtu.be
Digging! One thing that's killing the scale a bit for me is that the floor tiles look huge compared to the rest of the environment. I would try to make them 50% smaller and also make the bevels thinner. You can counter the repetitiveness that will cause by either vertex coloring some panels or by using a big tiling overlay…
I think it would work so much better if they actually had a real leasing system, for cheap. Imagine a freelancer in need of a specific app for just the duration of a project, for export reasons an so on. it would be so nice to be able to lease Maya for like a month for 50$ instead of having to find workarounds, or getting…
Hm, are your Smoothing Groups going over 40-50° ? Cut your UV Shells and make the sides planar. Then add a new Smoothing Groups to UV Shells with TexTools. Also select all Vertices in Mode 1 and then Press Weld with 0,1 . Maybe some Vertices are not welded. Looks like youre doin millenias tutorial? :)
