Well I'm going to go see this about 6 or 7 more times this week. :-) I think the only flaw was the short subject "Boundin'", which seemed kind of limp (and this was BEFORE I saw the feature). Scott
March of robots was a great way to break out of the rut I was in, kind of fizzled out towards the end but 20/31 isn’t bad (13 renders 7 sketches, last attempt only made it to 3 renders)
should be fine, you might be at a disadvantage for a week or two, but you will get used to it. I was trained in XSI, and scared to touch Maya. I've been using it for 7 weeks now after getting hired reciently, and confident in it.
That's very low. I would want it to go up a lot after a year. My first job was £19k and that was nearly 7 years ago. Also, it was in Wales, so my costs of living were pretty low.
yeah sorry Iniside, you're playing a game that was developed for windows 7/8, and wondering why it no worky on a beta build of an OS that even the developers probably didn't test it on. this is the one time when the blame is entirely on you.
Day 8 (missed day 7 crap, I'll catch up. Also took 40 minutes on this one instead of 30. I used only one brush for this one to see how it would turn out):
yeah thats not a bad estimate at all. depends on the game and which devices they aim for, you could get away with 5k or even 7-10k with 1024x1024 maps on the latest devices if the scenery and lods are low poly enough.
technical talk is the correct forum for this. In order to bridge, there has to be 1:1 number of edges. A bridge always connects two edges together, right? But you have 7 edges selected. Deselect the edge in the middle, then bridge.
Super sweet piece dude, really inspiring. Imo : Lghting should be a bit more contrasted in the interior ---pic 6 and 7 only, that will makes things pop out even more, the rest is marvellous. A+ project :D
