Not to mention too soft voice, too low volume, or just bad/heavy accent with lots of ummm, errr, ehhhh, or ahhh in between words/sentences. STOP WASTING MY TIME
I'm not sure what program you're using but it looks like your smoothing normals are all jacked up. In Maya these are defined by hard/soft edges. In Max these are defined by smoothing groups.
Like this ? I just took all the faces on 1 side and assigned the smoothing group 1 and for the other side the smoothing group 2. This is the equivalent of the hard/soft edges that Maya use.
Just a quick update -tweaked lighting a bit, messing here and there just for fun -soda can done -books done ***Ugly shadow baking*** didn't figure out why yet.
Games that look and sound like the old 8-bit generation will always hit home for me. Pretty sweet! Is there a way to soft-throw bombs? I failed the tutorial twice because of this!
hey! Your soft works pretty fine, however, if you can't save anything (even if it's for the moment), it will be a bit useless, and nobody will 'test' it anymore. But it seems to be fully functional on packing UVs
Oh, and you also want to uncheck all options under the Preserve section. You have Preserve Hard Edges on, so any edge normals that aren't soft will stay in place.
Been a while since i did some greyscale stuff. Thought the greyscale looked decent and then i tried to slap some color on it with over/soft light and it turned out horrible.
Lighting looks nice and soft. Since the AO along the fence looks a bit pixellated, I guess those were baked. The key light is probably real time. That's my guess.
My machine ate it alive without the cap on. I'm still super excited about this project. How are you putting this together anyway? How is the lighting and soft shadowing going to work?
