looks nice, but the area around the cupboard in the back looks to dark but in same time to saturated to me also you might add some more details and lighting to the door in the back right next to the cupboard. it might be in the back but its sitting quite in the center of the image and close the counter and its colored…
With those old timey wall sconces-the light isn't ever pure white. They're usually a bit dingy around the edges, with a yellowish or 'warm' hue. That white white makes me think of florescent lights in a grocery store. Also, for the chess table-you might want to change the colour of the 'white' checks to something a bit…
This. As for tips, I say bring some of the contrast back in terms of lighting. Right now you have a lot of just scene based illumination, meaning nothing really has a shadow, and everything feels pretty flat. Add a focal point or two with spotlights or omni lights, bring some darker corners back, and just reduce the…
It worked well, might want to add in some ambient sound, give it a more creepy feel. (Add some text saying that you can right-click for fullscreen) Personally I walked through it in one go, but it felt accidental when I found the suitcase and the correct door. Other than it feeling a bit repetitive (decals and some…
Do you have any reference for your final look? My problem with everything right now, is that nothing looks logical. My eyes don't really know where to rest. I'm okay with things being bright, but nothing seems grounded at all. Stylistically, I could maybe give you the benefit of the doubt, but right now the browns/grays…
They aren't sculpted. We hand painted all of the cobwebs in photoshop. If you add a bit of color and emissive to the fog is might pop a bit more. We used a lot of color in the atmosphere to try and get some color in dark places. Nice work Some subtle fill lights/lit candles in the same color as the fire would also help add…
The picture in your reference looks a bit lighter. This might be because of the lighting, though. There's also more colour variation in the leather. Look for the reds and yellows, especially on the side. Your UV layout also has a lot of unused space. Looks great, though, nice materials. I like your presentation but you…
here are some updated renders. I took your advice and overhauled the tank glass texture, and also changed up the lighting. please let me know if the renders are too dark, the left side is straight from max, and the right side is after a little post level tu. my lcd is mega bright, even with brightness on 0, lol. so please…
Love it so far! The crease between the neck and jawline is a bit too crisp I think, where it approaches the ear you could soften it considerably. Right now it makes it look almost like her head is a separate mesh. Her arms could use more fat, less muscle definition. In the concept notice the flow of the shapes from…
Actually what you have modelled so far has much more of the characteristics of an AKM than an AK47 (the buttstock is from an AKM, so is the slanted muzzle break), so I'd say just stick with it and make an AKM instead (AKMs are also much more common than AK47). But of course the decision is yours. For comparison: AK type…
