I had pretty much everything so I only went for the regular-tier games, but if anyone wants to trade a key for proteus for any of the other games (except for little infermo), let me know.
Yep, that's basically it. Except you're pasting three different grayscaled textures into a single texture, pasting one into each of the Red, Green, and Blue channels. repete... that's a different technique, using colors to mask different layers.
looks great except under the arm pit area idk what is going on there but :) use pinterest Looking forward to this though, strip modeling, i found that sort of difficult but perhaps it works best for you and others.
Yeeeah, except that I found this pic posted on 2011. http://2ch.so/td/res/12543.html Your alleged work is too wide in style to believe you made it. What are you trying to accomplish?
Yeah. I'm pretty sure by now everybody recognizes the Naughty Dog Art Test for Eddy Roja(thats the name right?). There have been a lot of em posted, and many of really high quality. This is no exception.
Its crazy how there isnt that many good games for gamers. We've got this great fluid interaction with the game world finally, no one can be bothered, or figure out how to use it except in mediocre minigames.
Great article. My optimization experience has been mostly mobile but all of the same rules apply except your drawcalls are usually between 100 - 200. I need to tear something apart with Renderdoc :)
Yeah, I've seen it (: I saw it, and then two days later found this concept, so in a way i'm inspired by it. It's basically the same light and season i'm aiming for, with the exception that i have a more ambient light..
link was always left handed, except for twilight princess on the wii, where they flipped the entire world (that's right, they flipped the entire world) to be right handed. in the gamecube version of twilight princess he was left handed still.
There's not much else except Box blur or LODbias if you want to blur an image. And yes Unsharp mask works fine and is pretty easy to do. As far as i know all sharpening is going to require blurring.
