If you do a Free Transform operation after parenting but before animation all the curve will start from the center (value of zero). If you search the 3DS Max Idea forum for Normalized Curve View and vote for that idea. It’s exactly what you are asking without freezing.
@Klaus Hustle an object space normal map (local to the mesh so it works with transformations) should indeed work, but the thing that this is the correct way sounds weird, as I think I haven't seen this method in any offline rendered art breakdowns. It is definitely a workaround though.
after re-trying , i can see it's more possible , ok , i have a head similar to this i will transform it into this and tell you .. i will do this after finishing something i'm working on .. and post then the result ... PS : i think Gurlo is a nice nickname XD ...
In fact i make a copy of objects and reset xform them. But then the resulting normals are wrong on an original not reset object. So i should maybe do smthing about it. Normals are dependent of the object transforms, and basically you should always reset before editing them.
It just seems as though an escape is somewhere one would go, as apposed to a character being something one escapes to. Perhaps someone could be escaping into being one character, such as that young kid who transforms into captain marvel or a dnd character cosplaying their hero or something of that nature.
The best way to do this currently is generally with two cameras. There isn't a way to do split viewports at this time, but that is something we will consider adding in the future. Switching to spinners for the transform boxes is on the todo list, though I'm not sure when we'll be able to add that. Thanks for the feedback.
Very nice, I like it! Not hating or anything, just think maybe you could do something diff with the legs. Add like a cool transformation. But thats just me fantasizing :D Still, I like it. Reminds me of the bug ships from Lexx.
now with preselection I think Maya has finally finished transforming into Mirai. what I always wanted. My Mirai with Maya manipulators. I think the only reason that website still exists is so Autodesk will gobble them up as well ( Autodesk bait ).
World space maps are for objects that won't move or transform at all. They are easier for most engines to render without errors in seams, etc, but they just don't work in any engine on characters. This type of asset should be rendered with a tangent space map, and not a world space normal map.
I saw the trailer at movies when I went to see the transformers. I'm scared of the director too! He seems so out of place for this movie. I'm glad they are making it. At first I was like, don't tell me they are making a dbz movie and that's goku... LOL
