Hi Miroanimates, for the script I've done it is supposed to work like that, for instance if you are increassing the brightness with 5 procent after you will reach the 100 it will start from 0. Do you prefer it to stop? Maybe I can add an option to be checked so it will stop.

I thought quad chamfer modifier gave better results? The default max chamfer modifier has the advantage of being build in. With most new releases of 3dsmax the modifier has to be recompiled. Therefore scenes will stop working in new 3dsmax once support for quadchamfer stops.

The fact that it will stop when it hits something is the reason you can never have too much padding, because it will just stop before it does any harm, i would rather have a texture who's unused uvspace is 100% padding than "underpad" and worry about it.
