awesome! Thanks man, for the shading blur, did you just grab a large airbrush with soft edges and opacity and give it a go over until the little highlights?
I think your hair looks too soft compared to the rest of the character and it's lacking some depth. You could push the volume as well and maybe get some more angles in there like in the concept
90% of bake issues are UV or soft/hard normal related. There's sticky threads in technical talk that explain how to deal with most situations. If it's not answered in there post pictures of your uv layout
This is really neat. I think a falloff shader for the neon would really help make it pop, a line of soft heat along the centers of the tubes. A dynamic pose wouldn't hurt either!
I will do a soft-votecount tomorrow :) @Gir, I think that's a cool idea, though I will have to dig around some more. Haven't really dabbled into the 2D here at all.
Thanks, I agree the ground looks very soft at the moment. Considering it will be the focus of the video for a few seconds. I'll definitely consider adding more defined detail to the terrain. Thanks for the input!
I think new idea is better fit in theme of contest but you need to show soft heart of your orc without other character in scene. Couple of characters it's against the rules
I think it looks really solid. The face looks a tad soft but I'm not really passing judgement on that because a lot can be done with the texture. Looking forward to see more progress!
