I think normal people vs monsters definitely stands to be visually boring, if 'normal people' aren't engagingly designed. Some of the silent hill games manage to have visually exciting protagonists despite the 'plain' character designs. Fatal frame fails. Clocktower fails. Spline IK will work eventually , you need to path constrain the control points it generates to the path you want the hose to follow. Well, I didn't though it would be so complicated, I tried to compile the plugin to make it work, but well I didn't manage to. I think we'll be using the default Collider system as monster describes it just above, the system should be fine for most cases. And if we really need it someday, we might use the Tech-Artists… -

Lots of fun in this demo. Tons of weapons, variety of monsters, a flying vehicle, and a fast loading game I thought. Cons being one very short level, and the gameplay/level design is almost directly taken from Ratchet & Clank, which isn't really a bad thing.
