Pretty much similar to that, Joe. Currently we are small enough and don't have a lot of overhead. Should be pretty sustainable at this rate. Quite a bit of excitement from the local game art program students as well. Heres hoping!
well, standard of living/how far your money goes should be miles better in berlin - but going someplace where you don't even speak the local language - that must make a difference in your daily life surely?
haven't heard back from anyone for an internship , 1 person contacted me for a little bit freelancing, and a christian gamecompany sended me an internship offer aaargh the stress day after tomorrow 6 interviews with local companies
anatomy first, also take some life drawing courses, local community colleges are awesome for that, or you can see if there's a doctor sketchy's around you http://www.drsketchy.com but the most important thing is to try to draw something everyday.
This is where marketing fails miserably. Losing resources to keep 2 versions instead adapting prices to the real market. Also, the two company's forgot internet is worldwide available, and I think they are judging only by local money value.
Most likely. I had to NDA when i was visiting couple of times a small local mobile game company that offered me a possible job. So i guess in a big company they would throw it right at you.
bah I sold it. What a terrible let down. Still, my local DVD rental place (lol shibuya tsutaya) bought it at a 400 yen loss. my advice, don't bother. It's one very boring game.
To be honest Toomas no, prolly not, I have a fairly low opinion of my "local" police as it is. I do think now, the cop calling was pretty radical. It does kinda give one the feeling of the United States of Nazi Germany.
Yesirreee! Congrats tinman. More MA polycounters here... http://boards.polycount.net/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=60477&an=0&page=1 Oh yeah, and here's a good list of local game devs. http://www.bostonpostmortem.org/bostongamedev.htm
I'm pretty sure you can set up outlook or thunderbird to access hotmail so all your emails are stored locally. Hotmail is kind of weird about mysteriously closing down your email account for no reason.
