This shit looks awesome. I know they will cross that river when they come to it, but I have to wonder if 38 studios is even prepared for maintaining an MMO when it comes out. A definite improvement from my first attempt, but still not what I am after. I will try to relax the extruded bricks uv's a bit more. Any other advice? render settings, cage settings etc etc? I guess ultimately there is only so much you can do with a base mesh. -

IMO its a perfect blend between boring-ass phone & blackberry. I quite like it. Decent camera (2mp ain't bad for point & shoot), calendar, email, text, apps, games, music (i use mine as my ipod now), etc. etc. It's a fun phone. That's about all I got. -

I wouldn't put them all into one big OBJ file, because then it's more effort to break off the one you want, orient it's origin in order to clone it around etc etc. Makes more sense to have each one as it's own OBJ file with their pivot at 0,0,0, with a screenshot like JKMakowka said. -

Anyone know how you could make a blueprint where wherever a point light shines, a portal is created on the floor/wall/etc. What I am trying to achieve is: a light source that whatever it touches becomes a portal. It works if you split this into a two step rename process * first step is here to append the numbering ( so the resulting names all end with _01, _02, _03 etc ... ) * next step is adding the _LP suffix , but UNCHECKING the numbered checkbox Good thing is that the rename dialog is nonmodal and you can change selection etc.… -

What I meant was that while nerds, fanbases, and divergent subcultures have existed peacefully in the past, they were marginalised as not desirable for the status quo. Nerds would be considered socially awkward, fanbases would get their weekly fanclub meetings and subcultures would at best be ignored and at worst reported…
