Not connected Polys are not always bad. It has a common usage in the "connection" from two highly different objects like a arc with many segments and a simple plane. IIRC, you need to open these files: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Material VMT files will contain your Gloss number, color, etc. just open them with a Text Editor. I know at one point Valve mentioned you could make and modify your own VMT files, but not sure if they still put in support for that. -

nitpick: Lava is never fully fluid, or full orange unless its fast flowing lava, which doesn't appear to be the case. Lava Lake of the Nyiragongo Volcano in Virunga National Park in Eastern DRC. also note the large amounts of steam pillars. As i said, nitpick. otherwise i agree with the last two edits. -

Cool start! I think you should tighten those pants around her butt, make the hips a little thinner to match the concept and add some more arcs to her pose. The line of action from her shoulder to her wrist is just a straight line, try breaking it up to make it look more appealing. -

Even though you are covering the ear with hair, do sculpt it in so that you can see how the face works together as a whole. I like to think of myself as being better-than-average in terms of being interested in and applying whatever I'm learning to games or other interesting things. Art history classes I love, although I've taken mostly older stuff-- I dunno, I guess it's just the general mindset that kind of irks me. -

It's fairly common iirc, at least in Germany an Internship is usually part of the Bachelor's level degree. I had a hard time applying for Masters programs because coming from the US after my Bachelor I didn't have any internships and most schools require up to a year of practical experience to apply for Masters level…
