Yes similar to JoltZero, but I feel that the main bulk of the green diffuse needs more variation. Compare it to the concept and you can see it has browns, reds and yellows. Bringing some of these in combined with the specular variation and it will break up that flat look. :)
This is a really nice piece but the moss on the roof looks a bit weird to me. It looks more like discrete blobs on mask than something that has grown organically if that makes sense? Overall it's a really nice piece however so it's a minor niggle.
its been a while since i last post my WIPs. its been a veryy busy month for me thats why I didnt finish my first entry.. but... my 2nd one Circus Clown Zyra is DONE!
Paul Neale has some great info about rotations in Max. Transforms and Euler Rotations Quaternion Rotations Animating Rotations, Problems and Solutions Mike Brown also has a good one. What is Gimbal Lock and why does it occur?
Looking nice! If you're trying to match the concept then I'd say the wood could be a lot less orange and more brown. Also the floor and ceiling still tiles too much, try and match the scale of the planks you have going for the walls.
This is great! I was getting worried with everyone drooling over next gen titles that were just gritty brown & grey that we would have to slog through another few years of boring games before we rediscovered color and style.
I have dual 24 in 1080P monitors and I'm not very happy with them. My old monitors we're 1200 tall and I didnt think it would make much difference. But it's different enough to make all the apps feel crowded.
I gotta agree with almighty. When i think back to that saga, I think of her sharp, 'pointed' expression and that menacing frown. She currently looks quite friendly. Really nice update with the polish pass. Looking forward to the developments :)
Its looking good, only comments i can give are... 1) the brown know in the centre will need more work for to get the same shape as the reference. 2) vents at the bottom will needs some control edges.... (ah you've commented on that) Craig
I'm staring to get the major surfaces in. Some edges are pretty sharp down at the drawer, I'll fix those tomorrow. The brown segments will be where the wooden paneling goes. What do you guys think of the general aesthetics so far?
