I just posted a rigging job in the forum here, and from about 20 applicants the average was $300 for job that takes about half a day. I didn't set a price, that's just what people offered.
In one of his videos, he reads about 20-30mins of excerpts from it. I really enjoyed it, so I'll probably buy that book. Got to support people putting out quality content like this.
This is incorrect. The 4970 is 3.6ghz standard clock, and 4ghz boosted. The 4970K however is 4ghz standard and 4.4ghz boosted. You're losing 400mhz automatically by going with the non-k variant, and only saving yourself maybe $20.

You can afford UE4 from what everyone is saying. Just subscribe at $20, then cancel your subscription. You legally maintain access to the engine, you just don't get any future updates.

Usually my ships have around 20 different submaterials - it could easily be reduced, but since we make skins for the ships inside Unreal by creating a material override list, it keeps them nice and modular :)
I think the SP art team is getting seriously OP. But how much better would these shots be if you guys would stop making fart noises with your mouth in the office? At least 20% better.
