Even with the newer cards BFBC2 drops down to like 15-20 fps with max settings when explosions happen. I hope I can run Free4Play on my current PC, until I can get a new GTS 450 and a new PSU, ohhhh how I hope. Then just gonna play on low settings, old school style. -

floating licenses usually means companies, having another 15+days of testing on people who are most likely hobbiests, freelancers and students to work out some problems that may occur is pretty understandable in my book. having one person say "zbrush r7 is buggy dont upgrade" on a company level can be enough to not have… -

We'll likely slowly see things replaced by apps, like UVing, and retopology, or tools to help with iteration, but it's not like any jobs are going to be replaced overnight. It's not like game art jobs are highly at risk, stuff like self driving cars are much sooner on the automation timeline, and even that is still 10-15… -

It's hard to imagine how John Carmack could be more awesome. heh, MOP, you anwsered while I was posting this last response. I can't keep up with you guys. :) The bake has a lot of detailed high poly stuff, and just to render it takes a while (over 15 minutes). where the edits on the maps as slum suggested would take a couple of minutes. The edits I want to make are very minor.
