      the direction of light from a light in max is -z, if you select the light node and set to move mode and coordsys to local you'll see the z axis pointing out the back of the light :) (cameras are the same)

      Something that would be good to ask about is what relationships the college has with nearby studios. I know that Ubisoft and DICE both have internships for local students - and these studios are both in sweden so are close by.

      I don't believe that's true. Changing the scale of an object simply requires updating the local space matrix before doing the draw call. It certainly doesn't need to make a whole separate copy of the mesh for that.

      Talked to a local place today, I can get a 500 watt psu for $30 bucks, a gts 450 (their reccomendation, they claim it will be about a 150% boost in performance) for $135 and will install it for $10 sound good?

      crackdown is awesome if you're going to be playing online coop, and you can find it at gamestop for around 20 bucks used. there is no local multiplayer, however. there are some fun coop games on the live marketplace too.

      At the end on SanAn we had takeaway meals of our choice on Monday and Friday, and chefs from a local restuarant came in and cooked for us on Wed-Thu. The kitchen was full of food for people that came in at the weekend.

      http://www.gizmondo.com/ Some local handheld developer said that it had more power than the psp. With GP built in and its multiple functionality allows it to have more usefulness than either of the other handhelds.
