There was such a specific issue when edit poly modifier code was updated with - i believe - Max 2013. This would effect old ( pre Max 2013 scenes ) when loaded in Max2013+ too i think . Usually Edit Poly modifiers should of course keep the edits intact ...
Ayeeeeeeee, I freaking love the colorscheme, especially with the car on the right end. This is definitely resonating with the good old days feeling. So nice :D Not really a critique, but Im wondering how it would look like if the car was red? I think that might work too...or maybe not.
Don't you worry. Once you're an old, decrepit bastard like the rest of us here, you'll be pining for those halcyon childhood days too. On a side note, until you have access to enough naked ladies to make a tower, lego will always have the edge.
donno i just want it detailed so i added the double clip, clean mp5 would be boring :P i was wondering to wheres the mp5 on COD too O_O thanx for the feedback guys heres an aimpoint i stole from my old m4 O.o
Thanks Gir, tried doing that, though I was also working on figuring out the skin/translucency masks so there's some other adjustments in there too. Can't quite tell if it's better or not: I've also re-done the Bizarro sculpt: (best viewed in IE?!?) -the old version for comparison:
Thanks for the critique man, Yeah i made the metals not that reflective because they suppose to be old. I may try the AA thingy next time (im doing a project now that has kind of like the same materials so the critique here works on this other project too).
a good sculpt, some personal taste crits from me: the nose looks a bit wide and flat, makes me think of a cow rather than a dragon, the skin seems a bit too saggy like its old or like its about to shed its skin?
Loved the Slim Shady lp back then even went to buy the one after that on release day (buy! in a store! good old times :D ) and was brutally disapointed. Its the standard i was awesome got rich did too much cocaine lost my creativity route.
[ QUOTE ] I'm not too good with these organic things. Gimme rocks and bricks instead haha. [/ QUOTE ] What about statues? old trees? Organic alien structures? It's good to practice everything, environment art is a broad field. Cool thread bobo, i'll try and contribute soon.
I doubt any Fallout sequel would ever live up to the first two, the nostalgia factor from those old greats is far too high. However, I am sure Bethesda will do the series justice, and hopefully not use something silly like facegen.
