It's hard for me to share what brought me here... for obvious reasons but I wanna share something so... I was sitting around on ICQ talking to Nebu, he was the last original contributor to the Q2pmp that was still around when I was thinking about redoing the site into something that was designed better and had a better…
I finally found enough time to finish the model I start so looooong ago for the comicon challenge. I wanted to do a young version of doctor Octopus. I hope you will like it.
Looking really good. Great to see how much you have progressed since the beginning of the project. I think something really quick and simple for the last bit of polish would be adding more silhouette detail on the walls around the first screenshot. Try model in some chunks of various sizes to break up the straight lines…
I dont agree with Kwramm at all, I think development over time is great to show. It shows that you are actively growing as an artist, and at what pace. Much better to hire someone who actually push themselves to be a better artist than someone who is pretty ok but thats it, they are complacent. Then again, if your…
Julian Kenning has an x-stitch brush that I think comes included with zbrush (lightbox's beta tester brush directory). If not, then I got it from the repo thread. Similar lacing was also handled in the past by using zspheres and flattening them, though the topology/extraction options might be just as fast depending on the…
NO. I think that You've made mistake. The right way is FILTER/SHARPEN/SMART SHARPEN => ( with value by "default", "100%", "2" ,Gaussian Blur ) Thanks for Yours replies guys. Yes , I agree that this is the fast way how to get " BASIC" texture from photosource which You can take as reference to paint or overpaint.…
_Kratos_: Thanks a lot man, its always interesting to hear what people like so I can put more love into other areas and bring them up too. :) Finished the high poly, I'll make a proper render at some point, but on to the low poly gun now. Making the low poly should be super fast and easy because of the smooth shader…
When I made the website, I was dirt poor. Actually, I am still dirt poor (that's why I'm working fast to get a game industry job). There's no way my parents would be ok for paying a subscription service. Even my Unreal Engine 4 subscription lasted a month so I'm stuck with the March build. I've been applying to McDonalds…
Imho if your just modeling, texturing and rendering then you can't go wrong with modo. It's a great modeler, has a fast renderer and has some decent painting tools. Other applications would be: C4D also has bodypaint built. Lightwave also as a new version which is a complete rewrite of its core coming out in a few months.…
Wow that was fast reply dude! And thanks for the kind words~ Owh, I see..about his back it does looks like too straight right now, but for the "diaper" is actually the style lol..so I just gonna leave it like that..hehehh, thanks for your opinion though.. About planning on rigging him, now only after you mention it I think…
