I'd like to hear something on backwards compatibility, considering how bad that was botched on PS3 (No PS2 except on the old models, and PS1 still doesn't have texture smoothing on ps3 like it did on ps2 last I checked).
After a small delay, thanks Odeca that's some great feedback. I was able to correct most points, except the pinching in the buttstock. Here's some screens of the final hipoly, so far, with 50 round rum. And now on to the lowpoly.
I love this, very exceptional work. My thought though, is that the scale is off because the rocks are so massive. The ceiling is my biggest problem right now because the rocks wouldn't form like that. Where are my stalactites!!
I never got it to work and now after deleting all of the files I get this error whenever I go to Render to Texture :/ After I close the exception error I get a message that says --No ""+"" function for undefined
Finish! Full texturing are done in Substance Painter except one material from Substance Designer) Hi-Res images from Marmoset Tollbag 2 and you can find them on my artstation page! Thx you)
Try hiding all layers except the two you want to merge, and then doing a "merge all visible layers". For whatever reason this type of merge is often more reliable towards blending modes then simply merging layers down.
Thx for advice, yeah i think so too what i still should work on model, i'm not happy with that what i have right now (except pants but perhaps i should finish them too).
I'd keep its movement minimal except in emote animations. tail movement figures quite large into animal posture and communication and act as counter balance for large actions; for locomotion and idles the tail doesn't have large movements.
Froyok: sorry for coming off as anti-procedural, maybe I am a little bit, lol. I used substance to bake almost everything out except for a thickness map I did in xnormal, here's my graph:
havent had time to upload the final model jet, so here it comes :) I think it came out pretty ok overall, except the texture/ material. defining material is definitely something I have to get better at :)
