I like the simple shape of the head but why not add some high-frequency details (bolts etc) and add some metallic style scratches since I assume its made of steel etc. Material indication (scratchy sharp specular highlights, or diffuse specs on plastic ) will bring your characters to life -

F&@# it DO IT LIVE! But really though whatever works- I've been known to go- PS- ZB- render-export doc to PS- Paintover etc etc. as far as the design- I think you have a jumping off point but could push it harder- inject some Wayne Barlowe in there. good luck -

That is some professional level work! @pixelpatron is right, in that it looks more like a random screenshot from a game rather than a deliberately set up and oriented scene; and the fog does come off as a little odd (UE4's fog isn't very good right now). But awesome modelling and etc. etc. ! -

I guess i should make it clearer in future :p Neither model is finished, i have lots planned with the chair. Thanks for the feedback though. The thing is all of these chairs are different, for example the ref i've been basing mine on has no weaves, the cross bar at the bottom is behind the fabric, etc etc. -

A new weapon for Pudge. Posting WIPs etc. Concept for the Barberous Bodysnatcher: I managed to get most of this concept into the model at 350 polygons. Here is the high poly sculpt (you can see where things have been changed). Also - much as been thickened up for visibility etc. To be continued... Cheers! -

Hello! So i've tried my hand at making my first set , This is a raw 3d concept for Omniknight made entirely in zbrush no 2D concept, it needs to be polished a bit more, but till then i would appreciate some constructive feedback/critique about the overall shape, design, etc etc... Thanks -

Looking better! Crits: - Make the sky and fog a bit darker - Lit windows are too plain. Add curtains/blinds etc... - Roof of buildings are empty. Add antenna's/satellite dish etc... - 'hotel' sign still needs some work. Make the inner glow a bit more white/bright. Thats it! -

@odium, haha that's true, but if he looks a bit underfed maybe that adds to the realism of being a soldier on the frontline etc, looking ragged ;) @Gallows, thanks for the crits. Having not touched the model for a while and looking at the render now I can seem lumpiness in the cloth etc. But I'll do a lot more practice,… -

Why not? There are plenty of relatively wealthy indivduals out there willing to spend a couple grand on expensive entertainment hardware. It isn't uncommon for someone to spend thousands on a TV, reciever, stereo system, speakers, DVD players, etc, etc. I don't think this particulare product is to be aimed at gamers. But… -

very first thing that struck me is that the inside of the walls are exactly the same as the outside - there would be wallpaper, interior plastering different to the rendering on the outside, paintwork on the timbers, other details that make it look like it was once lived in, etc etc i think the reason it was the first…
