Added cartoon ak and laser. Note that the placement is randomized (a little) so the face will be most of the time more to the right. I also want to add some text, but i'm not sure for the font, colour and placement. -

The building and all of the machines withing are run on this glowing green power source. power cables are hung about the towers and bridge, most of which converge and plug into the laser gun. it pays to read once and a while -

paper: 200gsm is best most colour laser printers have a 200 gsm setting for manual feed (you have to tell it this, or it will get stuck in the drum). Inkjets should handle it fine. Ahostsandwich: cool! -

Disclaimer: Some of this is dependtant on using object space, and wont really work with tangent, but i tried to keep this as application-un-specific as posible. You can always follow all of these steps and then convert your object space map to a tangent space map in the end using xnormal's converter tool, but you will get… -

Re: Decals vs 2nd UV Channel?
In my experience you usually need both . second UV for macro/unique texture layer and masks and tillable UVs . Plus the decals too. So they are complimenting rather than excluding each other. -

might be nice to add a few differnt metal types to the laser barrel part. the whole thing being tan makes it look a bit like a wooden table leg or something nice work man!
