IIRC, the paging file is only used when there isnt enough space on the RAM to store the information that is needed. Its only used as a last resort because its much slower then RAM and thus kills performance. So you are correct that it can be used when there still is RAM available, but only when there is insufficient space…
Next, I began my composition for possible White Renders. Here is my first day at it, a bit too blown out: Reference: Sights: http://www.primaryarms.com/SSP Applications/NetSuite Inc. - SCA Mont Blanc/Development/img/ARMS-71L-SET_00.jpg?resizeid=7&resizeh=0&resizew=2000
i dunno if its a big deal but your AK has one side of the reciever milled and the other side stamped which isnt a thing irl. Like it has a lot of details off but most your key features are AKM specific apart from the milled side of the reciever and chinese style muzzle brake
Sorry, i was on about the last command tool. Again its been awhile since i used max, but about the UV stuff, try unchecking the 'normal' box under the projection menu if its checked. IIRC it scales your projection to fit inside the UV 0-1 range and causes mass stretching.
I really like the dances but have to agree with some of the others that the timing colud be better. The movement is very good with fluid motion arcs but the timing could be more "snappy" (more contrast in speed) for something as cartoony as this I think. I have the same problem when I animate, to much ease out/in on…
model Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, or Shinobu Oshino, from Monogatari Series anime. Reference taken from her design in Kizumonogatari arc. Honestly, not that happy with the textures, i'm lacking skill, so i'll leave it like that for now till i learn some more. Feedback appreciated.
Damn! She looks really cool!! Only thing that pops out a little weird is the low saturation iris, it's probably intended (and maybe you got a plan for it later on), but I do feel like a stronger color could benefit her a bit. Anyways just my 2 cents, can't wait for more!!
Sounds like warez to me. IIRC, the official Autodesk position is that old versions are not resellable by owners. Each version is only sold to one person/company, a non transferrable license. You can still use their Portable License Utility to move your (paid) license between PCs (work > home > work) though.
congrats Jboxmuh, you should be proud to have worked on such a cool title! You have greatly improved and it shows. The things that irk me are the cheek dimples, some of the lighting on the faces, and the scatches on the robot like at the top and in the middle. Looking forward to playing this one! Btw, how did you land this…
Pretty much what acc said, there's no fixed formula because everyone learns differently. I myself can't stand video tutorials (short attention span) and prefer to do things on my own or learn firsthand from someone irl. If dt works for you then stick with it (provided you have the time/money)
