I live in the westside but I much prefer partying in the Eastside. Little to no worries on traffic or parking and I fucking hate parking downtown. I swear everytime I go downtown at night I get yelled at by homeless people, crazies, or a mixture of the two. On the other hand though I am working a bit more for the holidays…
If you're going to run with a unique texture here, you can unwrap 1/2 or 1/4th(and mirror/instance) and just relax it, that should get rid of any warping, however you'll end up with sort of a strange shape. Likely will still be worth it tho. You should also try a relax on the planar map, as you can get *better* results…
ok, im finally done wth the main texture map for the train. the wheels will have to wait till later. :( anyhow, im very pleased with the way it turned out. here, i am applying the AO map as diffuse and also the normal maps i baked.
