For lower latency, 144hz, and gsync. Worth the extra $350 if you care about those things, but definitely way more of a gaming related luxery than a necessity. I'd probably get one with that build I posted if you threw away my computer today and told me I had $1800 to spend on a computer.
For reference, benchmark scores: 880M: 4787 775M: 4530 780M: 4331 GTX 470: 3563 (UE4 min spec card) 870M: 3519 770M: 2918 860M: 2732 760M: 1703 750M: 1527 650M: 1295 740M: 900 720M: 570 Again for UE4 and other high end 3d work, I wouldn't go with a mobile card slower than a 770M. Yeah, I've spent about $350 on materials so far. Demo reels, DVD cover sleeves. resume inserts, business cards, flat-packet print outs, and give away cards. Definitely spent the extra buck for all my stuff for GDC. I'm taking this conference seriously so I feel the money spent is money possibly earned back if I can get…

Here's the workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=354807817 and we wound up doing three styles for the head piece. I'm really happy with how they came out! fingers crossed that Valve…
