Working on a really rough block out for the "Some Sketches" robot baseball player. I still need to re-proportion the body a good bit, but I think It'll come out nicely if I have time to finish it. Maybe look into the new Star Wars Battlefront as reference? I haven't played it yet but since it has both humans and big robots playing around in the same field, there's probably something to take away from that. that looks pretty cool but a little problem I do environments and assets, the closest thing to characters I do maybe a robot here and there when I want to do something different Sorry should have specified that is my fault thanks though will look into it all the same, anything to expand my knowledge is all good no matter… -

I'm familar with Blompkamp's work, specifically the car commercial where the car transforms into a transform-style robot that dances. This is an interesting development, I'm really interested in seeing what he does with it. I really like Blompkamp's pieces, except for I hope he doesn't use as much of the "shakey cameraman"… -

New dumpage. Small update, but i spent the entire weekend and tonight working on the robot chick. Probably the best picture i've ever pulled from my imagination. And a quick 1hr study of this little dude i have at work. I painted him terribly, and it comes across in the study (lol). The perspective is knackered as well. Oh… -

I like the shapes on the little robot guy. Obviously a super early model made out of primitives but it shows some real promise. Oh, and by the way, all you jaggoffs who post "this is my first model ever" and it's got normal maps and a sensible tri count, you're not fooling anybody. Kudos to this guy for posting something… -

It seem that this like starwars and LOTR all suffer in the later installments from not giving the characters any character, the little funny quirks like strange sweets and mad robots get left out and they spend too much time just following the plot instead of making a fun atmosphere. Oh well i really enjoyed it anyway. tpe -

I'm still no fan of the over-the-top detail on the transformers redesigns, but I dig the type of combat the 'trailer' seems to be selling. I know its highly likely that it has nothing to do with the real game play, but the fighting in the trailer makes me think that the game would almost be like those old… -

Argh , there must be somone out there who likes the old classics , you know , its the game where you absorb trees and boulders to make robots , and try to get high wenough on the terain to absorb the sentinel. ive got some seriously good ideas brewing for this ... and it would be a complete change from the gazillion fps DM…
