I haven't encountered similar issues yet...usually I just act natural and take irrelevant shots in between to avoid looking too suspicious - "Asian person with a digital camera..."

I don't much like agents. Digital Artist Management still messages me peridoically to see if I'm looking for work.....I've been with this company for 3 years damnit! Stop.
I got myself a Bamboo (now called Intuos Pen). Heard a lot about it's pressure sensitivity not ideal for digital painting, but it works just fine for the level I'm at and for learning Zbrush.
It's really awesome to see that you're working hard on a strong foundation based on traditional art and anatomy practices and stuff like that. Your digital stuff is really coming along! Keep it up!
Also I think the next generation of consoles will focus more on being a well rounded media box and digital storefront, than just pushing newer faster hardware with better graphics.
This is really lovely in every aspect. May I ask what program you are working in? I do a lot of tradition artwork and have been wanting to get into more digital work.

As stated previously Digital Tutors has more tutorials for XSI than they do any other package. I would recommend using them if you dont mind paying for the training.
